Hello - Yes, Ive had some issues w/ Winamp over the past 2 years. I now keep the old winamp 5.2.4 and the necessary plugins stored on my desktop.

When Winamp takes a dump, which it has twice in the past, I simply re-install the entire application.

If you have an older machine w/ winamp, you can transfer the application and plugins wirelessly or via disc.

This information may be useless........perhaps not. Who knows? The shadow knows.

Yea I've had this problem to and it seems to be when you update any 5. version or higher you must uninstall then reinstall the shn plugin or the whole thing stops working right.

I had Winamp for about three weeks with no problem. Then it started hassling me. I've tried re-inststalling the app with no luck. Too bad. I thought it was great.
